A Story You Can Walk, Draw and Discover.
Watch the space
Clifton Village BID are proud to introduce Rosie’s Trail — a permanent, self-guided heritage experience inspired by Rosie the Elephant, the much-loved resident of Bristol Zoo. She holds a special place in Clifton Village memory. Rosie’s Trail continues well beyond the walk itself. Children and families are invited to take part in a year-round creative competition — writing their own Rosie stories, sharing sketches and artwork inspired by Rosie the Elephant
“I didn’t think Rosie’s Trail would end up the way it has. Not only does it help youngsters find their way around Clifton Village and learn bits of history, but it’s fascinating and humorous. The sketches and design of the whole project make you want to read on to the very end. Best of luck with this project.”
Join Rosie Elephant’s year-round creative competition, we’d love to see your Rosie Elephant-inspired creations. Create your own Rosie masterpiece or write a fun story featuring Rosie. Winning entries and selected artwork will be showcased in Rosie’s Talent Gallery and future Rose Elephant Trail activities throughout the year. To enter, send your work to bidmanager@bidcliftonvillage.co.uk with your first name and age. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to submit your entry. So grab your pencils, paints, pens, and paper — and let Rosie Elephant inspire your creativity!
