You may be noticing the luminous yellow pushbikes dotted throughout Clifton Village in anticipation of the Tour of Britain whizzing through Bristol on the 4th September.
Tony Miles, on behalf of BID Clifton Village, has been busy not only painting the 26 bikes but positioning them in eyecatching locations from the Suspension Bridge, to the Mall Gardens, and even sneaking some into shop windows!
The cyclists will be starting their third stage of the race on The Downs at 11.30am, coming through Clifton and over the Suspension Bridge, before touring around North Somerset and back to The Downs to finish.
Clifton Village welcomes all supporters to come and cheer the riders on as they begin and end the stage. Whilst the riders are putting the leg work in – 128km to be precise – there’s so much to see and explore in the village. Make a day of it!
