THAT Group Public Consultation:  2 – 16 Clifton Down Road

THAT Group are hosting a public consultation event on Monday 31 October 2016 at Clifton Library regarding proposals to redevelop this key site in Clifton village which is bounded by Clifton Down Road, Boyce’s Avenue and King’s Road.

Following two previously consented but non-viable designs, and a previous scheme in 2014/15, the current scheme features a mixed-use commercial development of less square footage than previously, to include a range of retail units on the lower floor levels, with office space above and top floor restaurant space.

The event on 31 October follows the recent public exhibition of revised proposals which were on display at the site on 5 September and online. That Group and their design and planning team have considered the feedback from the consultation last month and would now like to share further proposals with key stakeholders and those living and working in the area before working up a final scheme for planning.

Doors will be open to near neighbours and public from 5 – 7.30pm. Given the large number of people who wanted to look at exhibition boards last time there will be a number of short sit down presentations to ensure that attendees can view the proposals more easily.  These will be on the hour and half hour on a ‘first come first served’ basis with the last session starting at 7pm, and finishing at 7.30pm.

Following the consultation event, the exhibition material and a feedback survey will also be available at www.thatgroup.co.uk/cliftonvillage.
