From the iconic views of Clifton Suspension Bridge to the rows of independent shops and the vibrant food scene, a Discover Clifton Village map has been released to highlight the incredible scenery, views, landmarks and open spaces the area has to offer.
Full of information on things to do and see, as well as activities for all the family, the beautifully illustrated map is being printed and will be available in many visitor attractions and arrival points for Bristol and from the Discover Clifton Village website.
The project, which has been funded by BID Clifton Village and the Bristol City Council Neighbourhood Partnership, aims to increase awareness of all the area has to offer and also help guide visitors to all corners of the village, not just the familiar areas of interest.
Packed with information on open spaces, picnic areas, spectacular views, amazing architecture, hidden secrets and historical landmarks the map also highlights all of the Village’s shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and delis by type so visitors can easily navigate the village by their interest.
The printed map also includes information on things to do such as visiting Bristol Zoo, Clifton Rocks Railways, Christ Church Green playground and the Downs, its array of independent shops, offering vintage antiques, art, home interiors and fashion and a guide to the area’s vibrant food culture, where visitors can find some of Bristol’s best cafes, delis, bar and restaurants.
The map will be located at bus stops, tourist information and Bristol entry points and there are plans to roll the graphics out on new information signs in the area.
