Florence the NHS Tree of Thanks was switched on last night, Tuesday the 17th of November 2020. Reverend Paul Langham of Christchurch Clifton blessed the tree and Florence Bennett a 9 year old girl from Henleaze who attends Sefton Park Primary School was chosen to switch on the Christmas lights. Tony Miles presided over the event, sadly with no crowds, the first time in Clifton’s history.

You can still buy NHS Stars from various businesses in Clifton Village displaying the NHS Star in their window. The Stars are then hung on the tree, and all the money raised is going to will go to a charity looking after the welfare of NHS staff across both the BRI and Southmead Hospitals. and the raffle prizes have been kindly donated by Clifton business.
