Countdown to Christmas with Clifton’s Advent Hunt

This December, discover Clifton in festive style while hunting down 25 wooden advent boxes hidden throughout the village.

Starting on Tuesday 1st December, 24 numbered wooden boxes and one special Christmas box will be hidden within the windows of shops and businesses for visitors to find. Christmas shoppers are encouraged to locate all 25 for the chance to win bespoke festive treasures.

This festive family-friendly game provides the opportunity for families to track down Christmas gifts, while discovering the Village and entertaining the children. The 25 boxes will be hidden in the streets of Clifton Road, Regent Street, Boyces Avenue, Clifton Arcade, Kings Road, Waterloo Street, Portland Street, Princess Victoria Street and The Mall and clues will also be released via our social media channels.

The Village Pottery is offering an exciting prize for the winner and 24 runners-up will receive a hand-made tree decoration.

Advent Window Hunt forms will be available from SoleLution on Boyce’s Avenue and Wildwood on Regent Street. Participants will need to complete the form, listing the shop or business where they found each advent box and hand completed entries in to SoleLution by Monday 21st December.

All correct entries will be placed in a tombola, the first one to come out of the drum will win the 25 small wooden advent boxes, the advent calendar that houses them, a voucher to redeem in the village and a bespoke handmade Christmas decoration from The Village Pottery. A further 24 runners up will be drawn from the tombola and will also win one of the handmade Christmas decorations. The draw will take place on Monday 21st December.
